Faculty of Pharmacy, Tabriz Uiversity of Medical Sciences, ranks among most top pharmacy faculties nationally known for innovation in the design, discovery, targeting and delivery of novel therapies that improve human health particularly in the treatment of cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and immune system disorders neurodegenerative diseases. Many of our researchers are recognized internationally as leaders in their field.
Tabriz faculty of pharmacy interdisciplinary collaboration across academic departments, health system and industry enables translational research which includes full spectrum from basic laboratory discoveries to clinical care advances. These research activities are achievable using a wide range of facilities located in 38 different laboratories in the faculty.
Along with post graduate research (PhD, Postdoc and Sandwich course students), undergraduate Pharm.D. students began to do their research projects of Pharm.D thesis from the beginning of 4th year. To do their research they have to take participate in different research training workshops (e.g. research proposal writing, Endnote reference manager, research ethics, Lab report writing (documentation in laboratory) and scientific paper writing) in 3rd year.
