Technical service and helping is managed by two librarians from 8am to 15.30pm .

The search inside the available database can be performed through specific PCs and or digital library website.

The final approval of the membership process is completed by submitting a photograph along with a student ID card to the Library. The assigned membership number will be used for borrowing and returning items.
General rules:
1- International Cataloging system is applied in the library and Journals are located in a separate section.
2- The library utilizes the open system. This means that students and the other applicants can freely access book shelves in repository.
3- Due to open library system, students should leave their bags and or books outside the repository. For this purpose secure cupboards have been located in entrance, which their keys should be delivered from Help desk. According to closing rules the cupboards should be freed a quarter before exact closing time.
4- Closing the account is necessary for members who are graduating or transferring to other universities.
5- Please keep quiet inside the library and never eat or drink.
Borrowing rules for members and visitors
6- Borrowing books from the library is performed by filling out the loan application card. This is the only way to take the item outside the library even for studying in the study hall.
7- Other visitors who are students in other faculties of the university or have already been graduated can use all library facilities other than borrowing the items.
8- All visitors other than pharmacy faculty members should have a valid ID card, when attending the library or applying for a document copy. This card will be kept during their attendance inside the library in the borrowing desk.
9- Borrower whose name is recorded in the loan application form should himself attend the library to receive the item.
10- Reference books, journals and some single-copy books or high use items which are defined by academic staff at the beginning of each semester cannot been borrowed. These items can be borrowed during the same day until the exact closing time, with librarian's permission and filling out the temporary loan card.
11- Thesis can be copied or borrowed only by the direct permission of its supervisor.
12- Maximum number of books which can be borrowed at the same time is 2 books for Pharm-D students for 2 weeks (14days) and 8 books for PhD students and faculty staff for 1 month.
13- If the borrowed item is not being reserved, the loan can be renewed for only 2 other weeks. Re- borrowing time length for PhD students and staff is 1 month.
Print and Copy
14- Copying is only performed from un-borrowable items (Reference books, journals and some single-copy books or high use items) and also theses only by the direct permission of its supervisor, after coordination with responsible librarians and filling out the specified coping request form.
15- Copying time, not request time, is from 11am-13am. Copying request can be performed any time.
16- Each Pharm-D student is able to print documents not more than 100 pages in each semester and a charge will be applied for each page according to the current costs.
17- Only Pdf articles downloaded from web can be printed and no other type of print is permitted.
18- Print or copy costs 250Rial for each A4 paper size.
19- Each PhD student is able to print documents not more than 100 pages in each semester with no charge.
Fines and Penalties
20- Any delay in returning books or other borrowed library material will incur a fine.
A. First delay: Loss of borrowing privileges 2 times of the delay time for the overdue item.
B. Second delay: Loss of borrowing privileges 2 times of the delay time for the overdue item.
C. Third delay: Loss of borrowing privileges for 1 year or until the overdue item is returned whichever is longer.
21- In the case of missing a borrowed item the same item should be exactly replaced. And loss of borrowing privileges until the lost items is replaced.
